Digitrial Package

The ADEPP Study - University of Birmingham: Antidepressant for the prevention of depression following First Episode Psychosis trial

Project description

The ADEPP study is a clinical trial to see if using an antidepressant after first episode psychosis helps prevent depression.

Working with the trial team at the University of Birmingham we produced the full Digitrial Package. This included the project Branding, Study Website, Explainer Animation and Patient Information Tool. The trial team also created a series of videos that were included on the Study Website.

Our research assistants love the transformation of the patient information sheet into the participant information tool. It’s more user friendly, especially for the younger population we’re aiming at.

ADEPP Study - Patient Information Animation

Patient Information Animation

Explainer animation to provide a three minute summary of the patient information. The animation was included on the home page of the Study Website and at the start of the Participant Information Tool.

The animation is great and really helps to engage, and being able to send the patient information by text or qr code is an excellent extra way to generate interest in the trial. Many have reported back unprompted that it helps them with recruiting our difficult patient population and I’ve now started planning in a Morph patient information tool for all of my projects.
